Account & data deletion

Request permanent deletion in the app or by email, and understand what is removed and what can remain.

Effective date: 8 November 2026Developer: Pragneshkumar Patel

Delete your Gita Academy Math account

Gita Academy Math is developed by Pragneshkumar Patel. You can request permanent deletion using the app or by email. The email route works even if you no longer have the app installed.

Signing out or uninstalling is not account deletion.

These actions do not remove your Firebase Authentication account or its associated server records.

Request deletion by email

  1. Email the developer from your registered account address.Send your request to gitaacademy2017@gmail.com with the subject Delete my Gita Academy Math account. State that you want your account and its associated app-owned cloud data permanently deleted.
  2. Confirm the request. The developer will send a new confirmation email to the address registered with your account to verify ownership and obtain your consent. Reply to that message to confirm permanent deletion. Do not send your password, verification codes, reset links, tokens or secret deletion receipts.
  3. Wait for the completion email. After verification and your confirmation, the developer submits the request through the account-deletion system and checks the result. A received or pending request is not yet a completed deletion. The developer will email you when completion is verified.

You do not need to reinstall or sign in to the app to use this route. If you cannot access your registered email address, contact the developer for help. Deletion cannot proceed until account ownership and consent can be established.

There is no fixed completion-time guarantee. If you need help with a pending request, reply in the same support conversation. Email-assisted deletion cannot remotely erase progress stored on your devices.

Delete from the app

  1. Sign in to the account you want to delete.Use your own Gita Academy Math account.
  2. Open the account-deletion control. On the home screen, select Account → Delete Account. If signed out, first select Log in and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  3. Review the confirmation and reauthenticate.Enter your current password, select I understand that deleting my account is permanent., then select Permanently delete my account. Your password is sent to Firebase Authentication, not the custom deletion backend.
  4. Allow the request and local cleanup to finish.Keep or reopen the app on the initiating device after server completion so it can remove that account’s local learning and tutor progress and return to guest mode.

If the app shows Account deletion pending, reconnect and use Check deletion status or Retry deletion status as shown. Reopen Account on the initiating device to finish local cleanup. If cloud deletion is complete but local cleanup is pending, follow the app’s retry instruction. The completion message is Account deletion complete. Contact the developer if you need help or the request remains pending.

What is deleted

  • Your Firebase Authentication account.
  • Associated Basic trial data, including nested data covered by the cleanup process.
  • For deletion started in the app: the deleted account’s learning and tutor progress on the initiating device, after server completion and local cleanup.

Permanent account deletion cannot be undone. An email request removes server-side account data; it cannot remotely erase learning or tutor progress on an offline device.

What can remain

  • Guest progress, legacy unowned progress and other accounts’ progress.
  • The installation’s daily calculator allowance.
  • Minimal completion receipts: a status for in-app deletion, or a status and opaque case identifier for email-assisted deletion. No fixed deletion deadline is set for these completion records. They support completion recognition, safe retries and, for the in-app route, local cleanup.
  • Some alias, retry or abandoned deletion-operation records.
  • Provider logs, installation identifiers and backups not removed by the account-deletion flow.
  • Progress on other devices and existing Android backups.

Support emails and private case records: the developer deletes these manually once they are no longer needed, within 90 days after your deletion request is completed, unless a legal obligation or unresolved issue requires a particular record to be kept longer. They may be removed earlier. This does not apply to the separate Firebase completion receipts.

Google states that Authentication information is removed from its live and backup systems within 180 days after deletion is initiated. This is not a promise that every category of app data is erased within that period. See Firebase’s privacy information.

For remaining device-local data, contact the developer for help before clearing app storage. Clearing all app storage can also remove guest and other accounts’ progress. Simply reopening the app after an email-only deletion is not a guarantee that the deleted account’s local progress will be removed.
